The Alternative 12 Days of Xmas
Yes, we know it is only November, but sometimes an excuse can be made. And what better excuse than to give you some inspiration for your Twelve Days flash fiction. So we decided to have some fun and throw together our very own Dark Fiction Magazine Alternative 12 days of Christmas.
So here goes:
Twelve zombies lumbering
Eleven antimatter scattering
Ten ghosts a’spooking
Nine vampires vamping
Eight worlds colliding
Seven swords a slicing
Six sirens wailing
Five blooooooody crime-scenes
Four murderous monsters
Three severed heads
Two off-planet colonies
and a quest to find the goblet of eggnog
Yes, we know! And I am sure all you talented guys can do better. So go on, give us some more alternative days of Christmas for our amusement.
Oh and don’t forget, the deadline for your flash fiction submission is Midnight (GMT) Tuesday 30th November (more details here)
