About Simon Bestwick

Simon Bestwick lives in mournfully resigned bachelorhood (or more precisely, Lancashire) and is the author of two short story collections, A Hazy Shade Of Winter and Pictures Of The Dark, and a novel, Tide Of Souls. His novella The Narrows was shortlisted for the 2009 British Fantasy Award and reprinted in Ellen Datlow’s Best Horror Of The Year. His most recent publication is a chapbook, Angels Of The Silences, from Pendragon Press, and his new novel will be published by Solaris Books in 2012. When not pursuing the delights of wine (well, single malt whisky), women and song, he can be found disporting himself as a scriptwriter and actor with Dark Smile Productions (www.darksmile.co.uk.), with whose help ‘The Loving Of Ghosts’ was recorded.
